In the evening we had a little welcome event to socialise with the other participants.  During the training, we discussed what ESC is all about and learned more about volunteering, solidarity and active citizenship. We started with a conversation about architecture in Georgia, which is marked by the different eras and invasions the country has experienced. Georgia is particularly rich in architectural monuments, not only in its capital but also all around the country. Members mentioned the Golden Age during the High Middle Ages (from the late 11th to the 13th centuries). During this time, the Kingdom of Georgia was considered to be at its most powerful, and this was also expressed through the arts, and also notably through architecture. For instance,... - [Get ready workshop : Hike more, worry less](https://droni.org/get-ready-workshop-hike-more-worry-less/): On July 18th, we conducted the workshop “hike more, worry less” which took place from Turtle Lake to Mtatsminda Park. It combined educational tips and covering basic safety topics, along with the hiking itself. The group met at 8:45 AM at the Turtle Lake entrance. After a brief introduction and warm up, the hike began.  When the group reached the first resting spot, we introduced the core topics: what to bring on a hike and how to behave.
