This workshop, on them 26th of February, was all about getting participants excited about designing and running their own workshops. The goal was to spark new ideas, clarify what it takes to be a facilitator, and motivate everyone to bring their ideas to life.
We started things off with a quick introduction. Then, we moved on to brainstorming. Participants thought about what they’re passionate about, where they see a need, and what they’d love to improve or learn. This helped with coming up with a bunch of interesting workshop ideas.
Next, there was a short explanation of how to plan and structure a workshop, covering key points like setting clear objectives, organizing activities, and making sure everything is engaging.
For the main activity, participants got into small groups, picked their favorite non-formal education activity, and shared it with the rest of the group. This was fun and ideas were shared.
To wrap things up everyone filled out a form for their own workshops, resulting in many different workshop ideas that you will see over the course of the next week.
Overall, the session was interactive, practical, and inspiring. By the end, participants had explored different ideas, collaborated with others, and gained insights into making their own workshops a reality.
