Eurobus: Visit to Yerevan, Armenia #1

Posted on 29 May at 9:30 am
Our third stop in Armenia brought us to the heart of Yerevan, where we partnered with Armenian Progressive Youth (APY) β€” a dynamic NGO working to empower young people through civic engagement, education and international exchange programmes πŸ’™
🌿 The venue had a beautiful garden, so we split the day into two parts β€” starting indoors for the presentations and heading outside later for interactive activities.
πŸ“½οΈ Inside, we introduced the EUROBUS project, highlighting our micro-grant scheme and the social media competition. The audience, made up of youth workers and NGO representatives, was fully engaged β€” asking questions, sharing ideas and showing interest in the opportunities we presented.
🎯 The second part of the day took place outdoors, where our activity stations were set up in the garden:
πŸ—ΊοΈ EU map dart challenge
πŸ—£οΈ Language and culture match game
🧠 Knowledge quiz
πŸ“ Ping pong
🎨 Collaborative art wall
…and more!
πŸͺ After a quick snack break and some informal chats, we launched the creative part of the day:
🎬 Participants teamed up and created short videos for the EUROBUS social media competition. Each group brought their own experience and voice into the process, and we can’t wait to share the results soon!
🎁 As always, we wrapped up with EUROBUS merch β€” giving out T-shirts, notebooks, tote bags and other small surprises to thank the participants for being part of this inspiring day.
🫢 A big thank you to the APY team and all participants for the warm welcome and powerful exchange!
🌍 EUROBUS continues its journey across the Caucasus β€” stay tuned to see where we go next!
