On 07th April our ESC volunteer Paul led a workshop about “good-news media”. We started with a simple exercise of mapping our media environment by trying to understand how the different media we consume influence us. After sharing our results, we got together in groups to prepare a presentation about a chosen “good-news” story. Presenting our results to each other, we heard some interesting, motivating and funny stories and we got a grasp of what “good-news” is about. In an ending discussion session, we captured the differences to regular news sources, the value of “good-news” to our mental health and how it can be helpful to us, individually.
