From April 16th to 21st, DRONI hosted the Youth In Action youth exchange in the coastal town of Kobuleti as part of the Erasmus+ program. This unique event brought together young participants from Georgia and France for a week of learning, exchange, and collaboration.
We had the pleasure of welcoming French social work students, who are committed to supporting children and people with disabilities.
Their insights sparked rich conversations about youth work practices, highlighting both the shared challenges and diverse approaches between our two countries.
Throughout the week, participants engaged in:
* Ice-breakers and group-building activities
* Daily “reflection families” to share emotions and feedback
* Interactive sessions on Youthpass and its eight key competences
* Workshops on non-formal education tools and healthy lifestyles
* Project-writing and creative theater sessions
* A treasure hunt in Batumi’s Botanical Garden
* Georgian cultural evenings and dance lessons
The final Youthpass Ceremony marked the end of a transformative journey, where each participant received a certificate recognizing their personal and professional development.
This seminar was not just an event — it was a celebration of youth empowerment, intercultural understanding, and the core values of Erasmus+.
We thank all participants, facilitators, and partners for making this experience so impactful. Let’s carry this energy into our communities and continue building bridges through youth work.
