The Youth Association DRONI had the chance to take part in a really inspiring study visit to the Baltic countries in September, and it had a big impact on our whole team! Seeing how policies are shaped in countries with similar histories, but more advanced systems was both enlightening and motivating.
We are excited to apply the extensive knowledge gained from this visit into practical strategies that can influence higher levels of policy-making. Our aim is to integrate these insights into our practice to drive meaningful change.
We are particularly looking forward to implementing the effective practices we observed in the youth centers we visited and working with the dedicated youth workers who run these spaces. By sharing these innovative approaches, we believe we can foster a brighter future for youth engagement in Georgia.
The study visit was organised by two projects: ‘EU4Youth Phase III: Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship’ (funded by the European Union and implemented by CPVA) and ‘EU4Youth Phase IV: Youth Empowerment and Engagement’ (co-funded by the European Union and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany, BMZ, and implemented by GIZ).
