EUROPEAN SOLIDARITY CORPS (ESC)
The European Solidarity Corps (ESC) helps young people travel abroad to participate in volunteering projects. As an ESC volunteer, you commit yourself to the work for an organisation abroad. Volunteering projects can involve many different kinds of activities in areas such as youth work, cultural activities, social care or environmental protection. You volunteer on an unpaid and full-time basis. DRONI has an accreditation to host and send the volunteers.
VOLUNTEERING IN EUROPE
If you are a citizen of Georgia aged 17-30 years and willing to dedicate your time and energy to volunteer at a youth organisation in Europe, ESC is for you. ESC can be short-term (up to 2 months) and long-term (2-12 months). ESC is a learning opportunity based on non-formal education. During your volunteering you get free accommodation, food and pocket money, medical insurance and a discount card. Youth Association DRONI can assist you in being your sending organisation and prepare you for a life-changing experience. Contact our sending coordinator on the email esc.sending@droni.org.
VOLUNTEERING IN DRONI
The organisation can receive 6 long-term volunteers and 20 short-term volunteers at the same time. Volunteers can get involved in the daily youth work of the organisation under the mentorship and the coordination of the staff. The volunteer is accommodated in the centre of Tbilisi and lives together with the other volunteers, gets monthly pocket money, food money and medical insurance. The roundtrip to and from Georgia is covered by the program. If you are interested to get involved in the organisation, contact ana.katsiashvili@droni.org.
