In the week of November 6-14, a training course was held in Bant, Netherlands, within the framework of Erasmus+. Georgia was represented by 3 youngsters from Youth Association “Droni”. The purpose of unification from different countries was to share intercultural knowledge, improve skills and make a tangible impact on society.
During this week Various activities were organized to share more information about the current state of cultural rapprochement and the challenges of persons with disabilities. These activities included such entertainment events as:
- welcome party,
- 4 intercultural evenings
- carnival night
- so on.
The results of this project is that we organise two new youth exchanges which will be implemented in North Macedonia and Romania. Also, in our opinion, this project was a great experience to spread awareness about people with disabilities and understand their challenges in different countries. After these two youth exchanges, there will be organised APV in June, and it will take place in Bant Netherlands.
This week was incredibly interesting and full of experiences for each of us. for which we would like to thank DRONI for supporting similar projects” also, we are grateful to Rock solid foundation for organising these types of projects.
