Eurobus: Visit to Gori

Posted on 8 Feb at 11:15 am
At the end of January, EUROBUS stopped in Gori, Georgia, where we spent an inspiring day with up to 50 amazing young people from the Shida Kartli region!
We introduced them EVZ Foundation and MEET UP! program, shared insights about the EUROBUS initiative and explored the opportunities it offers, including micro-grants and social media competition.

The Young European Ambassadors were also there to present exciting European programs, such as: Erasmus+ and ESC (both short-term and long-term opportunities); Erasmus university exchanges; Practical knowledge and personal experiences.

The presentations were interactive and engaging, including quizzes that made learning both fun and dynamic. The young participants truly enjoyed the experience!
After a short break, participants joined a series of interactive stations, each offering a unique way to engage with the topics:
🎯 Dart Game Quiz – they could test their knowledge with fun challenges;
🔎 EUROBUS Topics Investigation – they could dive deep into 4 key topics: democracy, human rights, historical remembrance and cultural diversity;
🧠 Easy Jeopardy – they could explore a classic and funny quiz game; because of the age difference of participants, there were different levels of the game on the following topics: Europe, Caucasus, World War II, Soviet Union, Democracy;
💡 Brainstorming Station – the young people could share ideas about micro-grants and social media competitions, ask questions and get quick answers, they could even brainstorm their ideas at the station;
🎨 Art Station – they could express creativity through specific prompts and create a final poster together;
🗣️ Language Game – lastly, they could explore the diversity of languages in a funny way.
Participants not only gained valuable insights but also received symbolic gifts for their engagement and efforts. It was an exciting blend of learning and fun!
A huge thank you to our partners Young Researchers and Analitycs Union, Gori Photographers Club, Society Biliki, Innovative Language Academy, Young Feminists, EU Neighbours East, for their invaluable support – this day wouldn’t have been the same without you!

Thank you for following our blog and check our other articles or our next Eurobus visit !

The project was supported by the @EVZ Foundation.
