On April 5, EUROBUS visited the village of Matani in the Akhmeta Municipality, Kakheti! This time, thanks to the nice weather, the event took place outdoors at the local stadium. Our host was Nata Maruqashvili, the founder of the Literacy Club “Humane Island.”

The team — made up of Georgians, French and Germans — led an informative session about the EUROBUS project, the MEET UP! program and Erasmus+/ESC opportunities. Afterwards, participants took part in various games and activities. The stadium was divided into several stations, including an art space, a football challenge, a memory run and a darts quiz, where children could test themselves, gain knowledge through fun methods and win symbolic prizes

After a short break, the participants created 1-minute videos on selected SDGs right there on the spot, automatically entering the EUROBUS social media competition

The event sparked emotional feedback — participants messaged us, gifted us drawings, and asked us to come back again soon

EUROBUS continues its journey — we can’t wait to meet more amazing young people along the way!
