Our journey through West Georgia continued in the village of Rukhi, located very close to the occupied region of Abkhazia. Despite the complex realities of the area, we were welcomed by an active and thoughtful group of young people.
We began the visit with presentations about the EUROBUS project, the MEET UP! program and various European opportunities. Participants were curious, engaged and eager to learn more.
Then came a special moment – local youth representing the Rukhi Book Club presented their work. It was impressive to see how many meaningful initiatives they’ve taken on and how passionate they are about developing their community.
After the presentations, we moved on to our interactive outdoor stations. Through fun games, quizzes and activities, participants explored Europe in an engaging and entertaining way.
After a short break, we launched the SDG video session. Participants split into teams and created short videos focused on the Sustainable Development Goals for our social media competition.
We wrapped up the day with our signature award ceremony, where participants received EUROBUS merchandise as a thank-you and keepsake.
A heartfelt thank you to the young people of Rukhi for your creativity, hospitality and the inspiring work you do!
